Biomimicry 3.8 is providing a $1,500 scholarship to support one current ASU Biomimicry student to attend their October 22-27 Immersion Workshop. Don’t miss this opportunity to cover half of your workshop costs! Dr. Baumeister believes so much in the added value of the immersions that she is donating her honorarium for her lecture from the Tempe Arts Center Biomimicry Exhibit in August to provide these scholarships (there will be one for the December Nature’s Genius workshop in Costa Rica, as well).
To apply, simply write a letter (1 page maximum) and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org in pdf format. Your letter should include the following:
1. Which biomimicry program are you enrolled in?
2. How do you envision that this workshop will benefit you?
3. What do you feel you might uniquely bring to a diverse workshop cohort?
4. Please describe your financial need in applying for a scholarship to attend the workshop.
Submissions are due by August 28.
Keep in mind, additional costs will include airfare to Atlanta, Georgia and the balance of the workshop tuition and room & board depending on the rooming type you select.
